Tufton Cottage has called the same building home for over 40 years. First run by Richard and Barbara, the practice was passed to Rhianna and Will in 2019. Through COVID, the arrival of their two daughters, and a time of huge change in dentistry, they’ve continued to invest, expand and modernise Tufton Cottage — and they’re excited to keep leading a digital dental revolution.

NHS Dental Services
At Tufton Cottage, our NHS care is supervised by Dr Will Crank, Principal Dentist, Senior Dental Officer and Honorary Clinical Teaching Fellow at the University of Lancashire. As an Educational Supervisor for the North East and North Cumbria deanery, Will supervises a Foundation Dentist on a one‑year placement, with dentists changing every 12 months, so your care is always closely overseen and up to the latest standards

We combine 40 years of heritage with the latest advancements in dentistry. Our practice is equipped with 3D scanning, digital X-rays, and the support of CAD/CAM dental laboratories, ensuring a precise, comfortable, and modern experience for every patient.
Accessibility for All Patients
Parking: Free on-street parking is available for up to 3 hours. There is also a large pay-and-display car park directly opposite the practice currently under construction.
Disabled access: An access ramp is available if needed, and all appointments for mobility-impaired patients are arranged in our ground-floor surgery.
Toilet access: Bathroom facilities are located upstairs in the practice. Level-access toilets are available in the pay-and-display car park across the road.
